Rolling Garment
Bag
At one point, we did
a lot of work-related traveling. When I say a lot of travel, I really mean it! We covered eleven
states every three weeks, and then started the circuit over again. We were in business meetings five to six
days a week.
The
rolling garment bag was a life saver. We carried computers
plus luggage and a makeup bag as well. If our luggage had not been on wheels, we would not have made it in one
piece.
Leather
Luggage
I have often admitted that I am partial
to leather luggage, and garment bags are no exception ...but only for carry-on. We have bi-fold bags but there are
tri-fold garment bags as well to accommodate those longer garments. These bags come in a variety of sizes as
well as many different materials and lengths. Women will want a longer garment bag for dresses and coats while men
can use a shorter bag.
Nylon Garment Bags
Nylon bags offer a wide variety of colors and
patterns with incredible strength and wearability. If you use the airlines as your primary mode of travel,
then you will want your rolling bags to be as tough as possible. (You already know about the mistreatment of
luggage once it leaves your sight.)
Even if you travel mainly by auto, you will find
that your clothes, packed in a
garment bag, arrive at your destination in much better condition than
in a regular suitcase or even a two suiter. You will want to use your rolling garment bag to get to your car or the
back of the van, SUV or station wagon, and then place the garment bag on top of the other bags. Last in, first
out will make sure that your clothes arrive in good order. A wheeled garment bag should be one of your first
choices for travel luggage.
As I mentioned, the garment bag is the perfect
type of bag for full length clothes and a rolling garment bag is your best choice for ease of moving
about.
