Rolling Duffle

One time when we went to a convention out of town, we ended up buying a rolling duffle bag to
carry all of the extra books and CD’s that we purchased. It was not a small bag, and we filled it – every nook and
cranny.
That rolling bag has been through two daughters, multiple college trips, at
least one honeymoon, numerous vacations and it still is ready to go again. Sturdy and well constructed, a rolling
duffle bag can last for years. But here are a few specific reasons to own and use a wheeled duffle bag:
 Versatile Duffle
Rolling duffle bags, no matter what size you purchase, can be used for a variety of purposes.
They are great for kids' sports equipment since the handle and rolling wheels make it easy for children to manage
heavy loads. Hobbyists find them useful for carrying all manner of equipment and supplies to and from events. They
are perfect when moving because you can fill them with heavy items and just roll the bag.
Duffle with Flexible Sides
The ideal piece of luggage to accommodate bulky sports or ski equipment, books and files or
simply every piece of clothing and each pair of shoes you need for the perfect vacation getaway, this soft-sided
luggage gives great flexibility for odd sized or shaped things that you need to transport. A rolling duffle's
flexible sides offer plenty of options. A wheeled duffle bag is a great piece for any vacation when you might be
returning home with more than you took. You can get ones where extra space is available simply by unzipping the
bottom of the bag.
Duffle for Airline Travel
Now that the walks between terminals are generally long and often exhausting, we have this other
problem: overhead bins in today's airplanes can be a tight squeeze. Overhead bins are less of a challenge with the
flexible sides that give when you are shoving your bag in the small overhead space. A rolling duffle does make the
task of transporting your carry-on baggage from point A to point B easier with wheels that take the burden off of
your shoulders. Do be careful about pulling too fast – even these improved versions can tip over if you are
running.
 Duffle for Car Travel
Traveling by car, you can stuff the duffle bag to its fullest level. And when you arrive at your
destination, you can put it on the ground and roll right into wherever you are going. Hotels provide service to
carry your bags to your room or at the very least provide you with a cart on which you stack the duffle on the
bottom of the pile. If you are stuck in a Motel X with no services or other helpful things, you will say ‘thank
you’ for the wheels that roll your things into your room before you collapse. If you are visiting friends or
relatives, you know that you will be carrying your own bags, so make it easy on yourself and use a rolling duffle
bag.
Duffle for Storage
When not in use, your rolling duffle bag not only collapses to easily stow away in small spaces,
but it gives you a smart option for storage, as well. When not in use, a duffle can be filled with summer or winter
clothes as those seasons come to a close. Fill the wheeled duffle up in your bedroom or walk-in closet and roll it
away to a safe place until the season for those clothes rolls around again. Your clothes will be safe, kept dust
free and will be readily available for the correct season.
 Light Weight Duffle
Lighter than most traditional luggage, your wheeled duffle bag will not only be easier on your
hands as you roll it from place to place but easier on your back, as well. Sometimes you cannot roll your bag due
to rough terrain or the need for a quick crossing. When the situation arises in which you have to carry your load,
your hands and back will thank you due to the lighter weight of the duffle.
Last But Not Least - Stylish Duffle
Rolling or wheeled duffle bags are a stylish and attractive way to carry your clothes or other
things while moving from place to place. These bags come in so many different sizes, colors and materials, that
your choice can be as unique as you are. You can have one for your laptop and all that equipment; one that you can
use as a briefcase that also has room for your laptop; or one just for overnight trips. You can go conservative for
the business world or wild and carefree for the childish fun you still get to exercise.
It is up to you how you use a rolling duffle bag, but do not limit yourself with just one – or
at least not just one view of your life and how it rolls.
